Examine the lens before inserting it and do not use it if it is scratched or damaged. To remove lenses, make sure your hands are clean and dry. Use a finger to slide the lens toward the white part of the eye and remove it. If the lens is difficult to remove, use rewetting drops. Discard the lens once it is removed from the eye.
