Trofolastin Scar Reducer is a polyurethane dressing made up of two layers that helps reduce scars by acting through a physical mechanism that increases pressure on the scar and modifies the moisture under the dressing, producing a correct arrangement of the collagen fibers, improving the appearance of the scar.
Instructions for use:
1. Carefully clean and dry the scar area to facilitate the application of Trofolastin Scar Reducer.
2. Open the sachet and peel off the protective layers. Place the dressing on top of the scar, making sure that no folds are formed and that its edges are fixed to the skin. The dressing can be cut to fit the dimensions of the scar (do not peel off the protective layer before cutting and make sure that the size is sufficient to adhere to the healthy skin around the scar).
3. Trofolastin Scar Reducer can remain fixed on the skin surface for up to 7 days. The dressing is for single use only.
4. To remove the dressing, gently lift one corner and carefully pull up the edges of the dressing.

1. Reduction of hypertrophic or keloid scars. Trofolastin Scar Reducer can be used for the reduction of recent or old hypertrophic scars or keloids.
